It has been a life long dream of mine to get a peak into the entertainment and fashion industry. Growing up in Saskatchewan I learnt about such opportunities only from a far off point of view. My first point of realization that I could actually pursue this dream was after being brought to a model and talent convention in Vancouver called FacesWest in November of 2008. There I was scouted by a wonderful fellow, Matti, who is now my main booker at my mother agency in Toronto, Elite Model Management. After scouting me, he helped me organize all of the planning to get out to Toronto all in a months time! So in January of 2009 I wrapped up Semester 1 of my 3rd year University and took hold of the offer to move out east to the big city to pursue my modeling career. I have been so fortunate to experience such a whirlwind of new adventures ever since.
In my first year and a half I worked between Toronto (with Elite) and Montreal (with SPECS models).
In April of this past year I was able to finally cross outside of the Canadian border to make a trip to Miami where I signed with Wilhelmina Models. Immediately following Miami I flew to Hong Kong where I worked with Dreamodels for 3 months.
Currently I am on route back to Miami for their season and from there my journey continues! I am just so thankful that my travels have brought me to this point.
The industry has been absolutely amazing. I have learnt so much in the past year and a half. Every job I have done whether it be a photo shoot, runway show, commercial or T.V. spot, I have come out with new friends, great experiences, more knowledge, and more confidence in myself. And on top of it all it’s so incredible to be able to do something I love while traveling around the world. My goal is to just continue down this amazing road and accept whatever new opportunity comes my way!
