17 Most Stylish People at NYFW

I love this article because they are their own person, in their own style, not trying to be anyone or anything or any trend. I love.

Wake up and be ready…

Thursday morning… In and out of sleep.. I hear my phone in the distance..

I finally came somewhat conscious and answered.

Joe, my booker: “Lacey can you work for Macy’s today???”

Me: “Ermmmm, uhhh,…” -trying to wake up- “YES ok. Sure! Of course!”

Joe: “Ok get there as fast as you can… As in leave right now”

Flewww out of bed, into my clothes, out on the sidewalk, up to the subway, down to the city, and into the Macys.com studio!! Wooop!!

I thought I’d most likely be in Milan by this point, but since I am still posted up in NY I am suuuure thankful to be working :)

That being said, off to Milwaukee this weekend for Kohl’s!!

So thankful!!!

Spray-On Fabric

This is for real!!

I found this article amongst a list of new inventions from the past year.

Cheese, insulation, hair — a lot of surprising things can come out of spray cans. Now we can add clothing to that list. The British company Fabrican has developed a way to bond and liquefy fibers so that textiles can be sprayed out of a can or spray gun straight onto a body or dress form. The solvent then evaporates, and the fibers bond, forming a snug-fitting garment. Not just for clothes, the technology has household, industrial, personal and health care applications. The first runway show of spray-on clothes took place this fall — we’ll see if the trend will stick.
